Castaway Resort Koh Lipe

well, it was a very nice stay for our vacation. we greatly enjoyed impeccably clean and nice styled room, it had a nice bed, a safe box and a seating area. the location was stunning for walking around sunrise beach.

Overall it was functional and generous-sized with ac.

Equipment could be much better and should be renewed. The bar next door often played louder music for a long time... The boats at the front of the beach aren't so great either.

With the great view, the balcony should be a little bigger so that you can enjoy the great view better and more relaxed.

No air conditioning, lots of mosquitoes in the bungalows at night, but broken mosquito nets. It looks fantastic and impresses with its simple design. Prices in the bar and restaurant inappropriate in relation to quality. It makes you feel a little over the top.

I loved my time at Castaway Resort. The vibe was totally relaxed and the atmosphere really helped me unwind. I stayed in a Breezy Bungalow Garden View, and it was good. The two-story layout worked well for me, with the bathroom downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. The beach was just a few steps away. Watching the sunrise from my terrace was a highlight. The staff were really good-always friendly, attentive, and eager to help. The food at the restaurant was fantastic, especially the sweet smoothies and flavorful Thai dishes. The massages were also a great addition to my stay. I did notice the bungalows didn't have air conditioning, and it got quite warm at night. The lack of hot water wasn't an issue because the island's warm climate made it bearable, but some people might prefer it. I got bitten by mosquitoes quite a few times, so packing insect spray is a must. The nights near the beach can get noisy due to nearby bars, so light sleepers should keep that in mind. Despite some minor inconveniences, I had a nice stay at Castaway.

The stay here was amazing for a successful vacation. Bungalow with ac was the best. Lovely food in the casual restaurant was the best part.

Location on the beach, architecture and atmosphere

Room service only every other day does not work at all. Prices for drinks and breakfast are beside it. A good bartender would be desirable.

I loved the breezy bungalow with gorgeous garden views. The beach access was perfect for quick swims. Enjoyed the happy hour at the beach bar, sipping cocktails as the sun set. The staff was friendly and quick to help with any needs. A fantastic experience 🌴

This place suits me perfectly. Free wi-fi, beach access, and a spa make it stand out. The staff even provided water at night during my first stay. I can't wait to return for a city break!

An Unexpected Family Paradise

Waking up to the gentle sound of waves was our daily bliss. The staff's warm hospitality, especially for our little one.

The bungalows are a bit basic, lacking AC and hot water, which some might find less comfortable, especially on warmer days.

The lovely wooden bungalow was complemented by a clean atmosphere, and the sunset views from the terrace were amazing. A highlight was the tranquil bar area with its relaxing music and friendly staff.
